Promotions and Recruitment at Holmes Mackillop

We’re delighted to announce promotions within the Corporate and Wills, Estates and Future Planning teams at Holmes Mackillop.

Rachel Loose, having completed a 2-year traineeship at Holmes Mackillop focused on corporate transactional work, shall remain in Ralph Riddiough’s team.

Sophie Woodside also completed her 2-year traineeship with Holmes Mackillop, with a particular focus on Wills, Power of Attorneys and Executry matters and shall remain with the Wills, Estates and Future Planning team headed by Ross Brown.

We are proud of our track record in retaining trainees post-qualification, and recognise the value in doing the same.

We are also welcoming our newest cohort of trainee solicitors at Holmes Mackillop.

All three trainees have been working at Holmes Mackillop for some time prior to their traineeships commencing in June 2024. Paula Phinn, having completed her legal education at the University of Strathclyde, shall undertake her first seat in the Dispute Resolution and Litigation team. Paul Campbell, a graduate of the University of Glasgow, has his first seat in the Residential and Commercial Property team. Finally, Liam Reilly, also a graduate of the University of Glasgow, begins his traineeship within the Corporate team.
